Corgan is actively recruiting a dynamic Project Technology Coordinator to join the firm as part of our Data Centers team. Tackle these responsibilities alongside a team of creative, highly motivated individuals who are passionate about their work and ready to collaborate to achieve outstanding results. Our ideal team member is passionate and progressively seeking more responsibilities to expand their expertise.  

Responsibilities

  • Provide BIM/Revit project kick-off leadership, including project execution planning, model setup, and team setup direction
  • Provide ongoing BIM/Revit project support for a wide range of Data Center project types. Ensures project delivery teams are productive and capable of achieving project goals and deliverables using new technologies and workflows throughout the preliminary design, design development, construction documentation, construction administration, and project closeout phases
  • Practice Technology related Research and Development
  • Develop strong business relationships to enhance day-to-day operations

  • Provide feedback and contribute throughout project delivery on model health and clash detection
  • Work with design consultant and contractor peers to allow the larger team to work successfully in a shared model
  • Work closely with the firm’s IT Practice Technology Team to proactively develop and implement best practices and workflows with a primary focus on Revit, its extensions, and third-party tools
  • Build on the firms standards to develop and maintain tools, families, templates, and processes specific for the Data Center sector

  • Provide BIM/Autodesk Revit leadership and support including training and mentorship to all architectural and interior design staff in all offices (both domestic and international) in which the Data Center sector operates
  • Integration of Revit products with other applications
  • Opportunity to represent the firm within the industry through engaging with peers at national conferences
  • Establishing and supporting workflows related to:
    • BIM
    • Visualization
    • Reality Capture
    • Construction Administration
    • Computational Design
  • Content creation & management for both the Data Center sector and large client programs

Qualifications

  • Architecture or Interior Design degree 
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in professional firm environment
  • Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
  • A conscientious, dependable, organized and detail-oriented team player
  • BIM end-user education experience preferred
  • Required experience in Autodesk Revit and other Autodesk suite software on large-scale projects
  • Autodesk Construction Cloud (BIM 360) experience is preferred
  • Autodesk Certified Professional in Revit is encouraged
  • Experience creating computational design-based solutions and/or experience with energy modeling or other sustainable design technologies preferred
  • Additional experience in any of the following systems preferred: Newforma, Sketchup, Bluebeam, Rhino, Grasshopper, Python, Enscape, Twinmotion, Affinity, and/or Building Analysis tools
