Overview

Corgan seeks an exceptional Interior Design Studio Leader to join our team in establishing our Washington D.C. office location. This dynamic individual will build the firm’s Workplace Interiors practice by identifying, developing, and leading a creative team.  This role will develop strategic plans for growth, hire and develop talent, execute projects, provide high level guidance to project teams, and manage client relationships.   

 

Corgan has an entrepreneurial culture, and this opportunity affords the candidate the chance to build a team in Washington D.C., supported by the resources and experience of a large firm.  The role will report directly to the Market Sector Leader.   Together with the support of the Washington D.C. Office Director, this candidate will have a strong network and support system as they set out to build a team and further establish Corgan’s brand in the Washington D.C. marketplace.  

Responsibilities

The ideal candidate must have demonstrated strategic business planning for growth, business development success and confident presentation skills.  The candidate should have experience with regular and successful interaction with a variety of clients, including Federal, and possess a flexible attitude with the ability to collaborate and encourage collaboration in a team environment. The candidate must also demonstrate strong organizational, time management and communication skills. This is a great opportunity for a highly motivated and well-rounded leader seeking responsibility and the opportunity to develop and grow a Workplace Interiors practice as well as a talented team. 

Qualifications

Candidates must have a professional degree (BA or MA) in Interior Design, Interior Architecture or Architecture, as well as 15+ years of experience focused on interior spaces of a variety of workplaces, and the demonstrated ability to lead clients through workplace strategy, development, and change.
