Corgan is actively recruiting an experienced, licensed architect Project Manager to join the firm in our Washington, DC office. This dynamic individual will be a key individual in expanding our presence in the Washington, DC area. Focusing on federal government, workplace and private sector clients in the region, our practice relies on specialized architects and interior designers who understand our client’s needs and that can manage the entire design team and process from a very strong technical base.

Responsibilities

Dynamic design professional who is a team-oriented, highly motivated individual working with leadership to ensure client satisfaction and can function in a team lead capacity, while working on multiple, challenging projects.

 

Responsibilities include:

  • Generating creative design solutions within the functional parameters of a project
  • Prepare and coordinate project deliverables
  • Manage contract, team, and project performance
  • Coordinate with consultants and other stakeholders
  • Provide leadership to project staff
  • Manage client relationship

Qualifications

Qualified candidates should exhibit strong and effective organizational and communication skills, as well as the ability to present confidently. Must have high attention to detail and strong analytical skills.  The ability to juggle multiple responsibilities is essential. 

 

Candidates should also exhibit strong planning skills and be able to collaborate with a diverse project team. Individual must have strengths in conceptual design, technical excellence, and should exhibit strong marketing and client relationship experience and capabilities.  Candidates should be efficient with coordinating project deliverables and client expectations. Experience preparing all stages of design documentation, performing construction administration, and consultant coordination are required. 

 

Current architectural registration required along with a professional, NAAB accredited degree in Architecture and 12+ years of experience.  Revit proficiency strongly desired.

 

Federal government and private workplace sector experience required.
