Corgan Associates, Inc. is actively recruiting a Terminal Planner to join our growing Aviation Planning Practice in Dallas.  Corgan is currently working on innovative and challenging aviation projects throughout the U.S. and overseas. Our Aviation Planning Practice offers unique opportunities for both personal and professional growth by offering a wide-range of project and team responsibilities.

Responsibilities

At Corgan we offer unique opportunities for both personal and professional growth through a wide range of project responsibilities and leadership roles. Tackle these responsibilities alongside a team of creative individuals who are passionate about their work and ready to collaborate on a variety of projects in scale and scope. Our ideal designer is highly motivated and progressively seeking more responsibilities across a variety of projects.

 

Responsibilities include:

  • Airport terminal planning
  • Facility requirements analysis
  • Conceptual design
  • Systems integration including baggage handling, passenger boarding bridges, aircraft parking layouts, and other related terminal systems
  • Applying knowledge of current aviation industry regulations pertaining to airport terminal planning
  • Demonstrate understanding of appropriate industry standards and construction practice
  • Maintain awareness of, and appropriately apply, new methodologies, practices, codes, and products
  • Attend and conduct presentations
  • Manage client relations

Qualifications

  • Candidates must have a professional degree in planning, architecture, engineering or another aviation-related degree
  • 1 to 6 years of experience in the aviation industry
  • Experience working collaboratively with project teams on aviation planning projects, to ensure delivery of high-quality deliverables
  • Proficient with Revit, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp or other 3-D modeling programs is a plus
  • Team-oriented, highly-motivated individual
  • Familiar with terminal, landside and airside components
  • Possess a curious mind and interest in developing an expanded knowledge of terminal facility planning, design, phasing and project implementation
