  • Overview

    Corgan is actively recruiting an experienced, registered Project Architect to join the firm in our New York City office location. This individual will be focused on creating and developing exceptional design solutions and options for our Aviation studio. This role will entail generating solutions for any given client driven program, with a high focus on design excellence. Candidates must be creative, energetic, and flexible in their professional outlook given the fast pace and critical nature of the creative process.

     

     



    Responsibilities

    Dynamic individual will be a team-oriented, highly-motivated individual working with leadership to ensure client satisfaction and the ability to function in a team lead capacity, while working on multiple, challenging projects.

     

    Responsibilities include:

    • Generating creative design solutions within the functional parameters of a project
    • Prepare and coordinate all project deliverables
    • Manage contract administration responsibilities
    • Coordinate with a variety of consultants
    • Provide leadership to staff
    • Manage client relations

     

    Qualifications

    Qualified candidates should exhibit strong and effective organizational, communication and design skills, as well as the ability to present confidently. Recent large public space design and planning experience required, and familiarity with current global design trends in airport terminals is preferred.  The ability to juggle multiple priorities is essential. Individual must have strengths in conceptual design, technical excellence, and should exhibit strong marketing and client relations, experience and capabilities. Candidates should be efficient with coordinating project deliverables and client expectations. Experience preparing all stages of design documentation, performing construction administration, and consultant coordination are required.

     

    Current architectural registration required along with a professional, NAAB accredited degree in Architecture and 7+ years of experience. Revit proficiency required.
